Born on February 23rd, Carole S. Adler's first book was The Magic of the Glits, published in 1979, for which she won the Golden Kite award. An English Teacher in upstate New York for almost ten years, Ms. Adler chose to work full-time as a writer, moving to Arizona in 1990. She is the author of With Westie and the Tin Man, The Shell Lady's Daughter, and Always and Forever Friends.
