Kathryn “Gibbs Davis” is the award-winning author of 23 fiction and non-fiction titles. These include picture books, early chapter books, middle grade novels, YA and one film produced for children. She has also created two series (mystery and sports).

Teachers appreciate her fresh approach to history in two bestselling titles, Wackiest White House Pets (Parents’ Choice Gold Award) and First Kids (2010 Oppenheim Gold Seal) which features Malia and Sasha Obama. In recent years, Gibbs has been invited back as guest author to several presidential libraries including the Kennedy, Bush, Carter, Truman, and National First Ladies' Libraries.

Gibbs lives in New York City. She enjoys visiting schools, libraries, conferences and book festivals across the country.
