Reading Guide for Apples

Shawndra Shofner is the author of eight nonfiction books (three current and five forthcoming) on subjects ranging from Stonehenge to pizza to baseball.

Shawndra is a Fiscal Year 2006 recipient of a Career Development grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council which is made possible through an appropriation from The McKnight Foundation. She’s a member of Children’s Literature Network, SCBWI, Northland Arts Society, and Borderland Arts Alliance.

Shawndra lives with her husband, three children and a Springer Spaniel named Buster in a cozy home near the Canadian border in International Falls, Minnesota.
