Squirrels Christmas Story

Brian Wildsmith, born on January 20th, in Penistone, Yorkshire, England. He attended the Slade School of Fine Art, taught music at the Royal Military School of Music as his National Service, but decided to pursue painting full-time. Today he is one of the world's leading illustrators and knows exactly what children love. He traveled to Leningrad to design the sets (and some of the costumes) for the movie The Blue Bird. In 1986 he illustrated Katie and the Dream-Eater, written by Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado of the Japanese Imperial Family. In 1994, Brian Wildsmith Museum of Art was established in Japan. "There is one source of happiness that never changes," he has said, "regardless of age. And that is creativity." He played League cricket for Yorkshire and won cricket colours for University College in London. Mr. Wildsmith is married, has four children, and lives in southern France.
