Jill Krementz was born on February 19th. She is the photographer and social documentarian of a number of books for children and adults. Her adult book, The Writers' Desk, is an intriguing photography book showing famous writers' desks with commentary on their writing process and surroundings. She has written a series of How It Feels books, including How It Feels to Be Adopted. Her Very Young series includes A Very Young Skiier, A Very Young Skater, and A Very Young Circus Flyer. She lives in New York City.
