David Milgrim celebrates his birthday on September 12th. A former graphic designer, Milgrim grew up in LA, and now lives and creates in Petaluna. He has created over a dozen books including a "Ready to Read" series for Atheneum featuring a robot named Otto. His latest picture book, published in August of this year, is Thank You, Thanksgiving. With spare repetitive text and colorful contemporary illustrations, he tells the story of a little girl who goes on a last-minute errand for her mother.
