We wish CLN member Terri Degezelle a happy birthday on October 3rd. Born and raised in Mankato, Minnesota, she is the author of more than 50 educational books such as Ellis Island, Egypt ABCs, and Your Brain. Her most recent books are for Heinemann's Life in the Times series, giving an understanding of what was happening in the world at the time of Susan B. Anthony, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Rosa Parks.
Terri's stories and nonfiction articles have been published in magazines such as Faces, Lollipops, and Guideposts.
A nurse in her home parish and admissions director at a local private school, Terri has enjoyed writing for many years.
The mother of four children and grandmother of four, she takes her inspiration from her family and friends as well as the intriguing people and places she loves to research.
